Hopkins Family Beach Trip

We are having a great time at Seacrest Beach with the Hopkins family. Daddy's laptop doesn't have a SD reader, so Mommy can't download pictures until we get home. Gavin has had a great time playing with Avery, and Cooper and Harrison just arrived today so that makes it even more fun! So far it has rained the 2 days we have been here, but it is supposed to be clear tomorrow. We are definitely looking forward to playing in the sand. Mommy will post some pictures after we get home on Saturday. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

17 Months Old and a bubble bath

Gavin is now 17 month's old and is growing so fast. He is truly a delightful child. We are so lucky to have him in our lives.
Mommy put a few too many bubbles in the bathtub. But it sure was fun!

More pictures from this week

I decided that Mommy needed help changing a few lightbulbs
Playing with Mommy's headbands
I went to Avery's house this week, and thought I would try on her crown. I doubt that Daddy would approve!
Hanging out by the pool in the backyard and eating some grapes.

Hanging with my friends

Thursday my friends came over to play while Mommy was sleeping at Aunt Yaya's house.

The week in pictures

Gavin really enjoys playing on the driveway with a bucket of water, some cups and bowls and a couple of rocks.
Close up
Transferring the rocks from the bowl to the measuring cup over and over. Who ever knew such simple things could bring hours of pleasure!
Pool rings as bracelets - don't tell Daddy!
For some reason, we felt the need to stick a chip on our head during lunch one day.
We were eating popsicles, but Gavin couldn't decide whether he wanted the grape or the cherry one. Mommy just had to take the leftovers.

Father's Day

Last week Gavin was sick with the hand, foot and mouth virus. He felt pretty terrible for about 5 days. Luckily by Father's Day he was starting to feel better. We cooked out with Gammie, Papa and Yaya on Sunday afternoon. It was yummy!

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy in the world.
And the best Papa too!

The week thus far

After a fun day Monday at McWane Center, we've just been taking it easy. Mommy worked Monday and Tuesday night, so I've been hanging out with Aunt Yaya. Here are some random pictures from the week so far.
Reading with Mommy before bedtime. Hello, Aubie is my favorite book.
I sleep with all these "babies" in my bed. Monday afternoon, I made Mommy get them out of my crib and decided to lay down on the floor for a few minutes.
I had a great tjme playing with this green balloon. Mommy is suprised that I haven't popped it yet, especially when I was sitting on it.
Aunt Yaya took this while we were watching Dave Mathews on TV. I always put my thumb in my mouth when I'm holding a stuffed animal.
Aunt Yaya had this exersaucer at her house last summer when I was smaller. Mommy brought it home to store in the attic. I saw it in the den, and decided that I needed to get in it and play. Note that I'm standing straight up, I'm too tall to sit down in it.
Mommy bought me a new backpack that I really like. She is going to use it instead of the big diaper bag on some of our fun outings this summer. Also, check out my new "crocs." Mommy bought them at Wal-Mart for $5. I think they will make great pool and beach shoes.

McWane Center

Monday we took the kids to the McWane Center. They had a great time and Gavin will definitely be going back for another visit.

Relaxing weekend

This weekend we just hung around the house and played outside.

I prefer to run through it with someone holding me.

It's fun just wearing my diaper in the pool
