The joys of summer

Gavin is definitely a fan of the push-up pop. Yummy!

I guess it pays to have a half empty dining room. We build a fort this weekend, and Gavin has really been enjoying it. He likes Mommy or Daddy to get in the fort and play with him.
This weekend we spent some time at the pool. Gavin really liked watching people jump off of the diving board. He kept saying "Oh wow."

Mommy took a sandwich to work Sunday night and didn't eat it. So I brought it home and tried to put it in the fridge for later. Well of course when Gavin saw it, he had to have it. He walked all around the house nibbling on it. And this was after a full breakfast!

This week

I'm trying to keep more current on the blog posts. These are just some random pictures from this past week. Gavin is 16 months old today, and is truly a delight. He has the sweetest personality. He is very loving and is all boy! He loves cars, balls, watching any kind of construction equipment and his newest favorite thing to do is tackle Mommy and Daddy. Joey and I cannot believe how blessed we are to have such a wonderful child.

Now he likes to get in the cabinet when he plays with the pots and pans, which is all the time.

Summertime Fun

Gavin is already finding ways to beat the heat this summer.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day weekend with Mommy. Mommy says she is very lucky to have such a wonderful and amazing son (not to mention cute!!). I even got a new sandbox this weekend. I love it so much, that I get mad when Mommy and Daddy make me get out of it to go inside.

I bought Mommy some beautiful flowers and a sweet card for Mother's Day. I made the tile at Mother's Day Out. Mommy will also be enjoying a massage sometime soon, courtesy of me and Daddy.

Harrison's Roller Skating Birthday

Saturday was Harrison's 7th birthday at the roller skating rink. I had fun on the little scooter thing. I could go pretty fast backwards (although I didn't pay any attention to where I was going!).

Avery did better at going forward than I did.

Hampton's Birthday

My friend Hampton had his 1st birthday a few weeks ago. I had a great time at his party.

I splashed a little too much at the water table and my shirt was drenched. Luckily, Mommy had a spare in the diaper bag.

St. Peter's Carnival

The weekend that Daddy was at the race, I went to the carnival at St. Peter's with my cousins.
