What's been happening...

Addison has decided she pretty much only wants to eat foods she can feed herself. This can make for some messy meals!
But this was her reaction when she was covered in mashed potatoes!
Gavin enjoying the tire swing on a lovely spring afternoon.
Gavin decided to share his "babies" with his little sister.
We took Gavin to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time a few weeks ago. He had fun playing all the games (at least the ones he was able to play).
Gavin got a cupcake treat for being so good when he got a haircut. Can you tell he enjoyed it?
Addison's face in this picture cracks me up for some reason. I think she was eating chicken at Zaxby's when I took this.

Below are a few random videos I have taken over the last few months. Enjoy!

Day Out with Thomas the Train

Last Saturday we took Gavin (and Addison) to a Day Out with Thomas the Train. He had a wonderful time.

The conductor was nice enough to take a family picture.

Another soccer game

So Gavin has played a few soccer games now. He is having fun, even though our team rarely scores a goal. They are still having a hard time getting the ball back after the other team gets possession. We seem to keep playing against teams that really know what they are doing!
Addison taking it all in!
Addison is ready to get out on the field.
Cole enjoyed watching the kids play. Can't wait to see him out on the field in a few years.
Cole kept trying to pet Addison's hair!

First zoo trip of the season

We made our first trip to the zoo for the spring a few weeks ago. It was a great day, and we hope to make several trips this spring and summer.
It was kind of creepy the way this bobcat was staring at Gavin. I think he would have taken a bite out of him if the glass hadn't been there!
Sissy had a great time riding in the stroller.
Of course, we had to go on a train ride.
Addison had great time on the train!

Easter Sunday

Gavin felt terrible Sunday morning. He woke up Saturday night with his right eye swollen shut. Luckily, Benadryl helped to eventually decrease the swelling. He also had a fever off and on all weekend. But he did feel well enough to eat his Easter chocolate though!
His eye was better by Sunday morning, but still swollen.
Addison was excited about the Puffs, Cheerios and Yogurt Melts in her Easter basket.
Family Picture
Gavin stayed with YaYa while we went to church, but we put his Easter outfit on him to get a family picture.
Aunt YaYa with her babies.
As you can see, Gavin wouldn't put his new Slinky down during the photo shoot.

Sidenote: Addison's Easter dress was given to her by my Grandmother and Aunt Joy (and family) after she was born. I was so excited that it was the perfect size for her to use it as her Easter dress.

Hunting eggs with Daddy
Found one!
Even Addison got in on the egg hunt.
Yay! She found one. She loves to clap and say "yay" right now.
Addison loved holding and throwing the plastic eggs.

Easter Weekend

Friday night we did the traditional dyeing of the eggs. Gavin picked out his egg dyeing kit, it was monster eggs.
Daddy helping put the monster eyes on the eggs.
Addison checking out the finished product.
They weren't really participating for a picture.
The "scary" monster eggs
The church where Gavin attends MDO had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Don't know if you can tell or not, but the eggs were hidden really well! At first Gavin would just pick up a random egg here and there, but he finally got into it and started loading up his basket.
Addison was happy as long as she had a plastic egg to hold.
After the egg hunt, Gavin wanted to rest on the couch with Addison and share his Eddie with her. He has become so sweet with his baby sister. I love to listen to the "conversations" he has with her while riding in the car. He will ask her a question, and then provide her answer. So cute!

A stroller nap and swim lessons

Addison enjoyed a nap on an afternoon stroller ride.
Emory and Gavin are taking swim lessons at the YMCA. They are doing really well. If you are looking for a swim instructor, I highly recommend Chaz. He is doing an excellent job teaching the boys how to swim.

Happy Easter!

Check out my little bunnies!
My big bunny Gavin.
I had to post both pictures of Gavin. Obviously the top one is this year. The bottom one is when Gavin was a baby. It is hard to believe he was ever so small.

We hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend.
