Gavin Dancing

This my first attempt at doing a video post, so I hope it works. I captured this one of Gavin dancing on the digital camera. I still don't know how do get video off of my video camera. I have no idea why the picture goes sideways after the beginning. I don't remember turning the camera. We all decided that Gavin was ready for Auburn band parties with his cool moves. And he instinctively knew to go front stage!

More beach pics

A storm blew in right as they were starting the Beach Bash, so we all had to run for cover. As we were hanging around waiting on the food to be set up somewhere else, Gavin was getting restless. So Papa found some empty boxes, and instant fun!!
Peek-a-boo
While Mommy was trying to pack to come home, Gavin decided to play in the suitcase.
Gavin had a great time listening to the 2 bands over the weekend. He really enjoyed dancing with the other children.
Hanging out with Daddy on the beach.
Gavin found a pretty girl to dance with Friday night.
Thank you Papa for such a fun time! We love you.
A true beach bum!

Pritchett Family Beach Trip

Once again, we tagged along on Dad's business trip to the Sandestin Hilton. We had a great time, and thank Gammie and Papa for letting us join the fun.

Aunt Yaya, Daddy, Mommy and Gavin at the dinner/dance.

Mommy and Gavin right before the big storm came and ruined the Beach Bash Party.
Gavin had to go see what Aunt Yaya was doing, since she wasn't paying attention to him.
Gavin was a little more brave in the ocean this time, although we couldn't get in very far because of all the jellyfish.
This is the best family photo that we could get with a squirming toddler.

Cooper's 2nd Birthday Party

Avery and Cooper celebrated their upcoming 2nd birthdays with a pool party (Avery) and a Pump It Up party (Cooper). I didn't even get my camera out at the pool party (bad Mommy!). But here are a few from Cooper's party.
Going down the slide with Daddy.
Emory and Gavin (does this mean Dega is in their future?)
In the bouncy thing.
Riding Cooper's car after the party.
Avery's face cracks me up in this picture.

Mayson comes to visit

Traci and Mayson spent the night with us while they were in town for Avery's birthday party. The kids had a great time playing with each other.
Enjoying a cool popsicle on a hot summer day.
Gavin thought he would clean up the mess that they made with their popsicles.
Fun with stickers
They will definitely kill us for this picture when they are older!!
This was Gavin trying to give Mayson a kiss. Laura says that Traci and I only have ourselves to blame when they get in trouble when they are older for behavior that we were encouraging.

Lots of catching up to do...

We've discovered the oven mitts, and now put them on every time Mommy opens the cabinet they are in.
We had a playdate with Avery, Mayson, Tyler and Shawn last week when Traci and Candice were in town. I think everyone enjoyed themselves.

Getting ready for football and visiting Madeline

Gavin is gearing up for Auburn football season to begin. He found these shakers the other day and was walking around shaking them.
Is it fall yet??
wearing Mommy's headband
Visiting with cousin Madeline - isn't she precious?
I guess she liked his shoes.
Thanks Joel, Allison and Madeline for having us over Friday night. We had a great time and hope we can do it again soon!

Finally, sunny beach days

We finally had good weather starting on Tuesday. Gavin loves playing in the sand. He is definitely a beach bum rather than a water baby!
Relaxing in Mommy's beach chair
Looking at the "wa-wa" (ocean) with Daddy.
Playing in the ocean with Mommy.
Having a great time playing in the giant sandbox. He was covered head to toe with sand by the time the day was over.
Mommy's sweet boy.

Rainy beach days

Well the first 2 days of the trip it rained, so we had to keep Avery and Gavin occupied somehow. We filled up buckets of water, and let them play in their diapers on the covered deck.
Aunt Jaime brought dress-up clothes which Gavin had fun playing with. Each time Jaime changed his princess top, Gavin would say "oh wow." As you can imagine, Joey was not very excited about all this!
A princess with bug antenna.
We finally got about an hour and a half between rain storms to go out to the pool.
As usual, Gavin preferred playing on the side of the pool rather than in the water.
