Big Machines Day at McWane Center

Saturday was Big Machines Day at McWane Center. Gavin loves construction equipment, so this was a must do event for Daddy and Gavin. And of course, Papu couldn't let his little buddy go check out construction machines without being involved, so he met them there. As you can tell from the look on his face, Gavin had a great time.

7 months old

This picture just captures Addison's wonderful personality, she gets so excited now - I love it!

Sweet baby girl turned 7 months old this month. Where has the time gone?? Addison is such a happy baby. She is always full of smiles and giggles. She loves to give her Daddy and Gavin her "big girl smile." Even when I got a call from MDO last week that she had a fever and was acting like she felt bad, Ms. Amy said "but she is still smiling!" We have been battling colds and ear infections the past few weeks, so we are definitely ready for warmer weather, and hopefully a healthier baby! When we went to the doctor this week for an ear infection, Addison weighed in at 15lbs 7 oz. She has not been into eating solid foods lately, but I'm hoping once she feels better, she will start eating more baby food. She is sitting up great, rolling all over the place, and will get up on all fours, but no crawling yet. And that is fine with Mommy! Mrs. Lyndsey is supposed to take 6 month pictures on Sunday, so I will share those once we have them. Can't wait to see how she captures my sweet baby girl's personality in pictures!

Snow 2010

This was the snow falling at our house about 11:30 am.

Sweet Addison

Addison really loved being out in the snow. She kept sticking her tongue out trying to get snow on it. I love how excited she looks in this picture. If only we all had the innocent wonder of children!

Gavin had such a great time playing in the snow. He was so worn out that he fell asleep on the couch and didn't even wake up when we carried him to bed.

Gavin saw the tutu and fairy wings that we bought for Addison and wanted to try them on. He kept saying he was a dancing butterfly. At least he made it manly by playing with the excavator.

I especially loved it when he added the Auburn helmet to the ensemble.
